Black Lives Matter 2020 Collab with O Issa Fit

Olivia Issa (o_issa_fit) and I spent time during quarantine working on this bell sleeve, hand painted denim jacket in order raise funds for Bail Project (@bailproject)! The proceeds of the jacket went to the organization to support their work combating mass incarceration. While creating this jacket, I  found myself reflecting on this message and it's importance. At this moment in time, we find ourselves in a horrifying position in this country: at the intersection of police brutality, racism, and ignorance. The time is now to reimagine accountability. It is critical that we acknowledge our reality, from there we can inspire change. We start by identifying and eliminating the discriminatory policies that have held us back for so long. We highlight inclusivity and promote positive representation. We educate. We uplift. There is so much work to do, but it starts now.
